- Care: Wipe clean with warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Never put copper utensils in the dishwasher. Store in a dry, airy place. If greenish patina develops on copper, polish with copper cleaner and soft cloth, then rinse and dry. Dry the iron handle thoroughly after use to prevent rust—coat with a thin wipe of olive oil or beeswax.
